This policy describes how NoiseVue (“we”, “the app”) handles information when you use our mobile application.
NoiseVue is offered by Alexander Zgerskiy. Contact: zgerskiyapps@gmail.com.
The app uses the device microphone only to measure environmental noise level and show readings (for example, in decibels). Audio is processed on your device to run the meter. We do not operate a service that receives or stores your microphone audio for this app as described here.
The app does not require an account. We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your microphone audio for advertising or user profiling.
The app uses Google Firebase Analytics to understand how the app is used and to improve it. This may include automatic screen-view information and custom events such as starting or stopping the meter, which indicator type you selected, whether microphone permission was granted, and when you open external links from the app (for example, this policy or contact). Events may include non-identifying parameters related to those actions.
Firebase Analytics is operated by Google. Processing is subject to Google’s terms and privacy documentation for Firebase and Google Analytics. Learn more: Firebase Privacy Information.
In developer builds, analytics collection may be turned off using compile-time settings; store builds follow the configuration shipped with the release.
The app uses Google Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash reports when the app fails. Reports can include technical details such as stack traces, device model, operating system version, and app version to help us diagnose and fix issues. Crashlytics does not collect your microphone audio.
Crashlytics is operated by Google. Learn more: Firebase Privacy Information and Google’s documentation for Crashlytics.
In developer builds, Crashlytics collection may be turned off using compile-time settings; store builds follow the configuration shipped with the release.
Microphone access is requested only where needed for measurement. You can revoke it in your device settings; core metering features may not work without it.
If the app opens external websites (for example, this policy), those sites have their own privacy practices. We are not responsible for their content or policies.
The app is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region). Do not use the app below that age without a parent or guardian as applicable law requires.
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
